Company Profile

Principal, Michael Maloney, established PBI Commissioning Group to meet the growing demand for knowledgeable, qualified commissioning services within the Construction Industry. While this company is new, Michael Maloney is the owner of an established test & balance company that has been successful in serving the Southeast United States since 1996. With over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry and proven successful business management skills, Mr. Maloney has the expertise to ensure a technical service capable of meeting the needs of any facility type.

Our Philosophy

It is our belief that through the establishment of PBI Commissioning Group we have embraced the future. We have recognized that the increasing request for commissioning service is due to the awareness of climate change, the desire for good design, low-efficient energy use, increased indoor air quality and cost-effective construction. PBI Commissioning Group has embraced Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design green building concepts as the future of environmentally responsible engineering, and is committed to helping our clients with their LEED certified sustainable projects. Currently we are continuing education and training of our technicians in LEED policies and procedures because we believe that within the near future LEED Certification will be not only encouraged as it is today, but also required in the United States.
